"Bluetooth wearable to monitor the vital signs of the human body"
We are designing a new wearable capable of tracking the heart rate, breathing and temperature of everybody. The device technologies used are:
*Bluetooth mictrocontroller
*ECG sensor
*Temperature sensor
*Acelerometer/Gyroscope as breathing sensor (abdominal movement)
We have designed the entire device but we have it as a black box, that is why we are searching for the development of the firmware, mobile App and web server to take our product to the next level: alive.
The BT microcontroller is an ARM cortex IC that will communicate with Android/iOS devices sending an alarm in case of "danger". It means, when any of the 3 vital signs are off the regular limits and the user should be able to request the report of the current status of the vital signs from their phones.
The main concern is about the ECG sensor because the device will be used by overweighted persons, so the firmware should be able to filter the noise caused by fat, blood and muscles between the heart and the device attached to the skin underneath the chest and be able to "hear" the heart.
Te complete project is very complex, that is we are going to do it by 3 stages: MVP, Beta and Release. This first stage (MVP) will be very simple:
Track the vital signs using the mobile App upon request from the user. The mobile App will send a request to the device, the device will start the process and return to the smartphone the values of the vital signs. If there is something wrong with the placement or do not detect some vital sign, send a message. If there is an anomaly with the health, send a message. That's all.
