hi we are a team of engineers who need some basic programming on Solidworks to extract prints screens from the parts and past them to a word document I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Windows.

I have built many Windows Forms Apps that integrate with SolidWorks. Including those that generate complete CAD models from input on the Windows Form. This task seems relatively straight forward. Relevant Skills and Experience Propose to write this in C# Windows Form. Can configure as needed to integrate to Word output as required.

I have a lot of experience in developing software for SolidWorks and for your task (to take a screenshot of the current part in SolidWorks View and pass the picture to an open Word Application) I would suggest: - a macro that does the work and could be launched inside of SolidWorks by clicking a custom button. I would use programming language VBA for that. - or an Add-In that you can activate in SolidWorks that provides a custom button in SolidWorks to do exactly the same. I would use programming language C# for that. - a script file that can be launched outside of SolidWorks and does the work all the same. I would use VBS for that. If I didn't understand the task correctly or if you need anything else, please let me know.
