I have read the pdf. You want this to work for n = 5. Let us assume you have 500 friends and each of your friend has 500 friends too. For n = 5, this means you have to get (500^5) people's facebook page. This is computationally impossible. A recent article published by facebook research says that for n=3.5, you would have browsed the whole facebook itself ! So rephrase your requirements. I have written 50+ facebook crawlers in the past and I exactly know how to deal with facebook bot detector by using a combination of Selenium web driver, cookies and Graph API. I would propose to implement Chrome Extension which would open (and close) new tabs traversing facebook friends. Delay can be set to slow down the process (to simulate normal user browsing) if you like.
