Hello, I have worked with ejabberd for a vehicle tracking project and I have installed many instances (started on Windows and then moved to Linux). We had quite a few devices (clients) online most of the time (around 12000) and I know to tune the OS/ejabberd config to make sure it supports many connections simultaneously.
