Using C++ and Qt, preferably without any extensions, a SystemTray application frontend should be developed which observes changes in a folder and emits a Qt Signal, if a change to a file or subfolder in the observed folder is recognised. The functionality should be encapsuled into a Qt project (.pri file).
This should be an easy and non-time-consuming task for a Qt professional.
It should use the following Qt classes:
QSystemTrayIcon, QFileSystemWatcher
The signal should emit the file path to the changed file or folder.
It will be used to backup/version that file.
The application should provide the possibility to add/change/remove observed
folders through a simple GUI accessible through the system tray Icon.
You could compare the project to the minimal frontend used by software like Dropbox etc.
How are you?
I have much experiences in developing WIndows, Linux and Mac OS application with QT.
I hope our cooperation. Let's contact and discuss with each other.
Thanks.
