Adavanced Reading Skills Course

I wish to convert an existing 8-hour classroom-based training course to a remote learning course delivered online. The student base is minimum age 12 years. The blended learning course combines live teacher, video presentations, audio voice overs, texts, timers,. scored questions, interactive lists, a java application. The design must allow for these components to be modular, with the ability to be replaced or added to. I need to be able to control the workflow through the course with each module building on the previous one. Many of the exercises are time-based, so it is essential that the elapsed time for the exercise is measured and recorded. For example, in the comprehension tests, a student will be asked to read a text of a set number of words, pressing a button when complete. Based on this the system can calculate reading speed in words per minute. This is immediately followed by a 10-question multiple choice comprehension test, which is scored as a percentage. Based on these pieces of data, the system can calculate Effective Reading Performance. I need to build a database of students, recording their basic details, with scores and performance data from each of the tests they do automatically added. They will be issued a certificate upon completion showing their calculated Effective Reading Performance. The system needs to incorporate secure billing through PayPal or similar, with ability to handle coupons. I wish to be able to maintain contact with students with the view to selling refresher or additional courses as developed. The course is copyright and full details of the course will only be provided at the time of the development. The basic flow is: live teacher 90 second quiz live teacher or video comprehension test - timed text read, then scored quiz, then calculation and recording of effective reading performance Live teacher or video Eye exercise - this is a a series of multi-row forms. The first has a key word in the first column, followed by 4 words in the next columns, some matching others not. The student selects words in the same row that match the key word to the left. I want them to select by clicking on the word, which will highlight their selection. There may be no matches, 1 match or more. The student is scored by incorrect responses, i.e. words wrong or missed. This is a speed test so at the conclusion of the form, the student clicks the finished button to record time. The system records time and errors. This same process is followed sequentially for forms with letter groups, number groups and synonyms.
