Hi programmers, this is *MY* first time on this site as a buyer, although people I have worked with in the past have always found you all to be 100%, so here goes... :)
1. I need a portal creating , where i introduce trainers to end clients
2. see [login to view URL] for the what I am looking for the trainer's control screen to INCLUDE (not exhaustive, I will let you know the rest). I advise you to perhaps sign up for the free trial for "IT rescue" combined with the "IT reach" products they have.
3. the client software must traverse NAT firewalls (the usual!) and require no setup at all on the client's part, and also include possibly a dynamic DNS system and support Windows rebooting into safe mode, network support. The client software must also support multilingual facets including keyboard etc, and most important of all - it must be able to be downloaded on any system - be it Microsoft, Linux flavours and Mac. I would like this client software to be generated through perhaps a Java applet the user downloads via their browser?
SO! There you go, I know this is a brief outline but I welcome your bids for the portal creation and backend coding. The last and important bit - the following list is going to maybe disuade a few of you, but is really important to me:-
CRITICAL ATTRIBUTES
a) can effectively 'pimp my VNC' - I think that perhaps if you haven't done this, maybe your chances might be quite lower (not a zero though), than obviously someone that has this sort of exposure.
b) enable a cross-platform version of this client software and portal - for example if I have a client that has a Mac training issue - how will they connect with the system (explained earlier).
c) has *VERY GOOD* ecommerce billing systems experience (and I'm not talking a small checkout shopping cart thing here either folks ;)
d) Has experience of auction AND/OR betting site creation, and knows the common pitfalls and gotchas of these types of sites!
REALLY IMPORTANT (but not deal-breaker!)
If you're not a graphics person, that's fine - I want to site functional and minimalist at this stage anyway (what about those people with slow bandwidth and problems with video cards for example!)
I have the (almost) complete design for the system that takes into consideration all the business eventualities that stem from the clients and trainer's portal usage, but this will NOT be given out to anyone that is not invited. Sorry!
I'm looking for someone that once they've create this code, would be willing to document it all ready for either them carrying on developing the site as it grows, or where I can hand control over to another in-house programmer crew (ie - no learning curve for them!).
Cheers all!
