Hi,
Small task I have 2 servers / applications one running Ubuntu and the other Windows 2012 R2.
What I need is to copy a folder from one to the other. But only if the files have changed.
The folder data is large around 7gb. This is why it just needs to copy only modifed files. The folder is expanding at around 3gb per year.
My view was to use ftp to connect to one server and then copy the folder contents but only if modified date / time is diffrent. I could then set this up to run using schdular in windows at a set time every day.
I currently use application like owncloud or nextcloud to do the syncing and a batch file to copy from a local folder to another which is connected to the cloud app.
