You have to choose two or three systems for performance management, one which exist in your organization and some others which you know well. Perform a benchmarking of these systems according their strengths and weaknesses. Also, try to comment and discuss the following aspects:
What are the aims pursuing performance management?
How the competencies are defined?
How the aims for performance measurement are defined?
What are the scales used for individual performance evaluation?
To what extent these systems are committed directly to the compensation and rewards system?
And, of course, you could present all other aspects which have impressed you and which could be discussed according to efficacy and effectiveness, and possibly milestones.
