Hey! We are looking for either a Programmer, Data scientist, Data engineer, or anyone who is very experienced in both the languages R & Python. Deliverables: We require your help translating R code into Python. There are and will be many functions + scripts that require translation We would like you to use and therefore have experience with the following python packages: - Pandas, - Numpy, - pytest, - scipy, - statsmodels - isort - prospector And familiarity with PEP8 coding standards. Experience with a code formatter would also be very helpful e.g. black Extra info: - The R code is clean and well commented, and we would like it re-written in Python while producing identical results. - You'll be provided with a GitHub repo where the R code is stored, and to commit your Python code to - You'll be provided with example data in order to test the Python code to ensure results are identical to the R codes outputs - The R code has been written by a Data scientist, so if you are familiar with the Data Science techniques in R & Python, you should be well suited.

Hi, I am well versed with R and Python. I have worked on a similar project before. The problem that you may face in conversion is that some models linear or logistic regression may not totally give you the same results as there are default parameters which may be very hard to tune. Other aspects of the code like formatting, transformation can be achieved easily with various packages. I am a Data Scientist with 9+ years of experience with expertise in Machine learning and automation using tools like R, Python, SQL, Excel and VBA.
