I read that you want to build a multivariate regression model and here is how I would approach this project: First: reducing the dimentionality of the data. I will use PCA (Principal Component Analysis) to reduce your data's dimentionality, which means to reduce the number of independent variables. Second: Run the multiple regression model fit, and get the coefficients, residuals and deviations. This could be achieved with and without implementing machine learning techniques. It is more straight forward, and computationally lighter to do it without machine learning. I have got few other things to discuss about this project, reach out to me so we can do so.
