I am having broader exp in Linux, almost 15 yrs. Let me know your OS details with version. there are many ways of doing this, through repository like apt-get for ubuntu (debian) and yum for centos/rhel. if you are running with older OS, then repo may not support, you need to download binaries and install it using make utility or try with PIP3. Hope that clarifies you.
