Write some simple Software that displays array data based on initial selections made.

Currently we use an Excel Spreadsheet chart (for either inches and metric sizing) where someone would simply select the thickness of a wood board that they will be gluing up and then select the length of the wood boards as well. Then the person would read across the proper chart row to identify and call out how many of a certain clamp tool type to use (ex: qty of A, B & C size tools to be used) as well as where to position the various A, B & C type tools from the top edge of the board to their correct location along the edge of the board to achieve the best glue-up possible. For example, if you are using the Master Kit Excel Chart for 3/4" Thick Boards and you are gluing up a 3/4" thick board that is 42" long, you would use look at the first Column for Board Length and go down to the 42" long row. Then you would read across the row and find out that you will need 1-A ClampGAUGE, 1-B ClampGAUGE and 2-C ClampGAUGE Tools (which are displayed in the A, B & C Columns). As, you continue to read across the row, it will also show you where to position the various A, B & C tools along the board length as measured from the top edge of the board. In this case, 1 A ClampGAUGE would be positioned at 4" from the top, 1 B ClampGAUGE would be positioned at 13" from the top and 1 C ClampGAUGE would be positioned at 24" from the top and the second C ClampGAUGE would be positioned at 36" from the top edge. I am including 2 excel spreadsheets with various tabs that show you the inches chart content for 3/4", 7/8" and 1" as well as their metric equivalents in mm sizing. I'm also including a simple input & display screen that I envision as the user interface for the program where a user would simply select if they want inches or metric (mm) and then select the proper board thickness in inches or metric sizing and then select the board length. ranging from 6" to 120" (or metric equivalent) based on the board thickness that was selected. (Note: 3/4" thick boards will work from 6" up to 120", 7/8" thick boards will work from 6" up to 108" and 1" thick boards will work from 6" up to 96" long) (This would also follow the same logic for their metric mm equivalent board thicknesses & sizes.) My intent is to create a simple program that a user would be able to copy to a windows or apple computer (as well as iPhone and Android on handset) and then enter in the initial selections (inches or mm), (board thickness) & (board length) and then have the bottom part of the interface display the correct information that would be used for a glue-up (quantity & type of ClampGAUGEs) and (location of where to glue up the various A, B & C ClampGAUGEs).
