Simple WordPress plugin that displays data from RSS feed, and make one edit to current RSS feed

Hey Freelancers, I operate a business directory website, and I'd like to offer the businesses that are customers of mine a plugin that will allow them to display reviews of their business (that are currently hosted on my website) on their website. I already have an RSS feed for each business that shows the most recent reviews, so in its most basic form, the plugin would need to retrieve the data from the RSS feel, parse it, and display it in a nice looking way. One 'catch', if you can call it that, is that I'm sure they'd like to display the star rating associated with each review, and that data is not shown in the RSS feed (at least not currently). So I'd need you to either.. A) Edit the current RSS feed to also provide the star rating, or B) Make a custom RSS feed or API that just spits out a number for a star rating when a comment ID is given, and then use that in the plugin (since the comment ID is currently given in the RSS feed so it could be used for this purpose), OR C) Find the code in the current theme that already displays the most recent reviews with star rating and edit it so that it'll work on other people's sites, not just my own. I wasn't able to find this code with quite a bit of digging though, so it might be challenging. Efficiency is a factor here as well because when I put together something recently in PHP, it added a good 4 seconds to the page load speeds, which isn't good at all. Anyway, in more granular detail, here are the requirements: • WordPress plugin • Allow the user to enter the URL for their listing and saves that for future reference (and allows the user to edit this in the future) • Give the user the option of how many recent reviews they want to display • Give the user the option of displaying star ratings or not • Give the user the option of only displaying reviews that are a specific star rating or better • Give the user the option to display the whole review or only show a certain number of characters (that they can configure) with a 'Read More' link to the whole review • The user should not have to edit any core or theme files - just install the plugin, add it to a WordPress widget area, configure the options above, and click Save. There may be a couple of other odds and ends, but I think that's basically it. Note: In my experience here on Freelancer.com, the folks who auto-bid on projects just waste my time. So in order to weed out the auto-bidders, if you could simply address me as Tim in your message, I'll know you've actually read this project description. Also, I can provide you with a copy of the theme I'm using, but I'd prefer not to provide FTP credentials or an admin account. So you may want to use free tools like WampServer to run your own little web server on your computer which you can then install WordPress on and have your own handy dandy developer's sandbox. Finally, I'm happy to answer any and all questions you may have before you decide to bid and before the project starts. But as I'm not always online and have irregular work hours, if your work is constantly needing my input, this will greatly delay things for both of us, which will get frustrating. So please make sure you have a firm grasp of what's needed before bidding, with possibly only minor clarifications needed before starting work. (Hiring a freelancer after all is about saving me time, so if you require a lot of my time to finish this task, then it might defeat the whole point.) Thank you kindly :-) P.S.
