React Native social network app (iOS and Android)

PLEASE READ ALL SPECIFICATION BEFORE MAKING A BID DESCRIPTION: The developer will build a cross-platform (iOS and Android) social network App using React Native. The developer would concentrate on the front-end (React Native) which he/she then must couple to a partially written (~80%) back-end (PHP, Laravel) and to a MySQL database. The developer will be tasked to resolve technical issues arising from a production process and possibly develop new (minor) features on the back-end (PHP, MySQL). The developer would commit regular updates to the team to ensure a timely delivery of milestones. Detailed project description and design of app’s screens (mockup) will be sent after an initial interview. REQUIRED EXPERTISE: - Front-end: React Native; - Back-end: PHP, Laravel, Codeigniter; - Database: MySQL; - Google APIs integration (especially Google Maps), REST API, GPS tracking; - Design - will be considered as a strong feature of the candidate’s portfolio - English - All documentation/source code comments must be written in English; - Experience in submissions to Apple’s AppStore and Google’s PlayStore. SOME OF THE REQUIRED FEATURES OF THE APP: - Guest user (access to limited content); - Registered user (email, Facebook, Google+, Instagram); - News feed page; - Favorites/Bookmarks page; - Profile page (Followers, About, Settings, user photos/videos); - New post upload (post with text, tags, video/photo from mobile’s camera/gallery, localization/map, links to external sources; Functionality - edit/delete, comment/reply, like, bookmark, share); - Chat; - Push notifications.
