Project Description

We have a website built on Wordpress using the Woocommerce Auctions Pro plugin.

The website is here: [url removed, login to view]

The Plugin being used is here: [url removed, login to view]

At present the site works well but we need the logic changed that handles the bidding in the auctions when a product has a reserve price.

At the moment it works as follows:

Product A has a reserve of £100 and bid increments are set to go up in £5 intervals.

Starting bis is at £10.

Bidder 1 bids £200 and the software enters his bid at £10. and will auto bid up for him to a max of £200 as other bidders bid on the product.

If bidder 1 bids over the reserve we want the current bid to be entered at the reserve price.

I.e. Bidder 1 bids £200 and product As price should go to £100 which is the reserve. From there on the auto bidding will carry on in intervals of £5 as normal.

You need to find the logic in the plugin that controls what bid is entered when a bidder bids on a product and alter it to bid up to the reserve automatically if their bid is over the reserve price.

i.e. IF product has reserve AND bid entered GREATER THAN reserve SET BID to reserve price.

We have contacted Ignitewoo who created the plugin a number of times but they are unresponsive so have to assume they are not supporting this plugin or are just not interested. Hense we need a freelancer to resolve this for us.

Any logic alterations need to be made in the [url removed, login to view] file of the child theme as the plugin will ikely be updated and if so code changes may be lost. If this is not possible we need a list of all code changes made and which files are amended.

This should be a simple, quick job for a PHP/Wordpress expert.
