osticket mass ticket update - new function development

This customisation is required for osticket v1.9.x We want a new feature to be able to import a CSV spreadsheet file, and do batch message update, and/or closing of any tickets in osticket. Currently, any ticket updates can only be made manually, one by one through online form. we initially expect our .csv to contain a list of the below fields: 1. ticket number 2. ticket status 3. post reply message 4. post internal note title 5. post internal note message (1) ticket number will identify the ticket to be updated (2), (3), (4), (5) are the data fields to be mass updated according to the CSV file. We expect: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - best if this customisation is implemented as an osticket plug-in. if this is not possible, we can also accept changes to core files. - maybe a new section of form, or a new form will be provided after SCP staff/agent login, for us to select the .CSV file and do the CSV file import. - we expect the .csv file to be first saved into a new database table, we call it a "ticket interface". And then a new, separate process shall start to update each of the listed tickets at the backend, and provide a success/failure status with error codes if any after the whole .csv file is fully processed. All the update status and error codes should be written back to the new database table as log. - this customisation shall check if the ticket number in the CSV is within access authority by the logged-in staff/agent. If the logged-in staff doesn't have authority to access tickets (decided by "Agent Groups" in OST), of course that should be rejected and this ticket update shall fail with an error. - a simple report listing all ticket update status shall pop-up on screen once the whole upload and import process finishes. - "ticket interface" database table may contain the below columns: 01. ticket number 02. ticket status 03. post reply message 04. post internal note title 05. post internal note message 06. creation date 07. created by (osticket agent) 08. last updated date 09. last updated by (osticket agent) 10. import result (success/failure) 11. import error
