I am using InvoicePlane "a free and open source invoicing application" from [url removed, login to view] . Please check this out before stating that you can complete this project. I need improvements and customization for use with my business.
Here's a more detailed list:
1. Invoice shows as "Paid" when a partial payment is entered. This needs correct.
2. Invoice needs one additional status called "Pending Insurance"
3. A Customer Statement needs to be added. So that at any time we can print (pdf) a customer statement that shows each invoice, payments made, and invoices pending insurance, with a total due that auto calculates (excluding the "pending insurance" but still showing them.
4. "View" invoices needs to be able to filter by "pending insurance" in addition to what's already there.
5. The "dashboard" needs adjusting based on the above changes.
6. Search by CLIENT who have outstanding balance so that we can easily print their account statement.
