Functionality specs: • Ability to create an account. On creating an account, the user gets login details. The user can choose to register using Google or Live account. This will only allow extracting email, naming from the account. • User can then update the profile, change the password and log out. • User can also create an invoice. Add invoice will provide an option to add the address of the company, invoice id, due date, line items of work done. o System will automatically calculate the amount for the final amount. o System will preserve the calculations, just in case, the payroll department (company) wishes to check the calculations. o User can save the invoice, download invoice, send an email to the company with invoice, preview invoice o User can check all the invoices sent by the user. • Settings section will allow user to add following. This will add the company logo and address to the invoice. o Logo o Address • Email will be sent to the company. Company will have to click on the link to see the invoice. It will be downloable as PDF and printable. This link will be a unique link specific to that invoice only. • Please note that company does not need an account to view or download the invoice. • The menu for user after login will be Dashboard (currently this will show list of invoices created or sent), Add Invoice, Settings, Logout. Entities • Users – These are contractors who can create invoice after profile is created • Company – Who receives invoices from the users/contractors. Does not have a account on the system. Development This will be done with PHP using MVC architecture and MySQL as database structure.. Design MUST be responsive with Bootstrap.
