Dear Freelancers, One of my client's WordPress websites has unfortunately had malicious activity on their site that has been detected by the hosting company and I have attempted to get this sorted by a freelancer who has claimed to be able to fix the site that have been hacked but was unable to due to apparently the database and plugin/theme files being totally corrupted due to malware. Apparently the hacker has put in a code as below to almost 2000 database entries, They cleaned up around 1000 but there are still 1000 to go. They have gone on to say that this may not work even if all the entries have been cleaned as the hacker has removed important contents of the database which will leave your website broken. They've attempted to restore backups up until 28th January 2019 but it did not work and they have reiterated that the database is completely corrupt with the malware infection inside it. Please view the files that the freelancer has sent to me in the attachment. Sir,I never use any software or any programming script or any scanner to find out malicious files or script on server. Because they can never give you 100% accuracy.
