A developer familiar with PHP, MySQL & HTML is needed to customise an existing calendar application package: The application package is MultiCalendar (see example: [login to view URL] ) The current system allows for only a single user to be assigned to each event. The user is then notified by an email script whenever their name gets associated with an event. This is recorded to their personal calendar. We require the capability to associate one or more users with each calendar event. The work required for this project is to add the function to associate one or more users with each calendar event. The completion of each task should be considered a milestone and a proportion of payment released on completion of each milestone. Task 1: To modify the existing PHP scripts that send an outgoing notification code to the user associated with a each calendar event and return and process a http response. Proposed proportion of fee: 25% completion of milestone Task 2: add an additional tab on the existing 'create event' page within the "multicalendar" application. This additional tab should be titled "Status" and only be visible to a user who is a member of the administrators group. Proposed proportion of fee: 5% completion of milestone Task 3: include a combo list control with a select record check box on each user record. Enable batch notification to selected team members and display a team member status based on the icalendar invitation response. Proposed proportion of fee: 50% on completion of milestone Task 4 : Enable a 'select all' checkbox for the combo box. Proposed proportion of fee: 20% on completion of milestone If you accept this project, you agree to provide regular progress updates and will make your work available for review and testing at the time of milestone completion. Upon completion of the work,it would be to: 1) Enable the more than one users to be listed as confirmed attending an event 2) Be able to define which user, one or many, are to be assigned to the event 3) add a status field (INT value 0 to 9) to represent the status of user(s) for events 4) when saving an event, ensure the DB saves a record of all users attending. 5) View which users have been considered and/or assigned to attend an event 6) send an email to all users in the status list when an event is created 6.1) include an icalendar invitation (to create calendar entry compatible with MS office outlook, google calendar, ios calendar) to assigned users for the event. 6.2) when user accepts/rejects icalendar invitation, an acceptance/rejection response is returned to the admin via email 7) Enable the modification of assigned user i.e to add further users, un-assign user, resend notification 8) ensure user profile is able to view events assigned to them 9) update user record of events note: all work should be compatible with browsers: IE8, IE9, IE10, IE11, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome. All mock up drawing are for illustration purpose only. All work is required to completed in design and style consistent with the original application.
