Implement/fix Wordpress login form with 2 factor authentication

We provide login form with 2 factor authentication.
We are usign the plugin: [login to view URL]
The problem is that our current login form does not provide with error messages, and that confuses users.
For example, if users enter WRONG password, it still lets you enter 2FA code, and then takes you to first form (username/password). The ideal would be to display an error message "Wrong username/password".
Other example is, if you enter RIGHT username/password, then it asks for 2FA code, but if you enter the WRONG code, it takes you to first form (username/password). The ideal logically would be to display an error message "Wrong 2FA code".
