Gmail / Wordpress / Mailchimp integration -- 2

Build a Gmail contextual gadget similar (but much simpler) to - [login to view URL] Gmail Contextual Gadgets documentation - [login to view URL] The scope of this project is to build a Gmail Contextual Gadget which - (tab1) will fetch and display (contact) information from a Wordpress site (through a REST wordpress api call) - (tab2) will allow creating of Events on the Wordpress site (through a second REST wordpress api call) Each time an email is opened the gadget should activate / display at the bottom of the email. The gadget will have 2 tabs 1. First tab will display the fetched Wordpress contact information (this tab is read only) 2. Second tab will allow to create Events on the Wordpress site (by calling an WP api) + (optionally) send an email with the details of the event created Pre-requisites 1. A wordpress test site 2. Install the free [login to view URL] Wordpress plugin 3. A google APPs account for testing purposes 4. Mailchimp account How tab 1 should work / look - See tab1 folder from the attached [login to view URL] In wordpress add a custom rest endpoint - [login to view URL] getContactInfo (emailAddress) to return ContactInfo for the emailAddress (argument). Most of the returned ContactInfo information will come from the Wordpress site itself. The endpoint will also make a call to Mailchimp API to return the email campaigns previously sent to the company associated with the emailAddress (parse the email address to extract the @[login to view URL] part) How tab 2 should work / look - See tab2 folder from the attached [login to view URL] Using [login to view URL] plugin configure a new "pod" event having the structure from [login to view URL] After the event pod is created [login to view URL] framework will publish (automatically) an API rest endpoint for creating new events. When the Save button is pressed The gadget code will call the previously described [login to view URL] API. If "Send email" checkbox is selected send an email with the details of the event which was just created.
