getting rid of a queue

so there was a site which implemented a 3 minute waiting queue on its page and when timer was up it would redirect you to the page. both pages had the same url so its basically loading up the js files or whatever after timer is done. the cookies on the queue page were as the following: PHPSESSID=1omj7iu7i8esnibtum640f5bb4 queue=1488614327 the cookies after the queue was done were PHPSESSID=1omj7iu7i8esnibtum640f5bb4 queue=1488614383 so my educated would say to get rid of the queue, simply send the request to the page with "queue" cookie timestamp incremented by 3 min timeticks. would that technique fool the site to think the time is up? on a side note, somebody who encountered this queue, said there was an easy workaround. I can see this is being a trivial queue. any leads to how I can can get rid of it or bypass it?
