We have recently developed a .Net desktop application which connects to a central SQL Server in our office LAN environment. The same SQL Server is also used for SharePoint environment. The login into the application is implemented through Active Directoy based authentication. However, when the the users in the office try to login to .Net application from their desktops many times they get "Cannot generate SSPI context" error message. We searched on it and found more details on the cause of the issues at below URL [url removed, login to view];en-us;811889
We are looking for someone who has sound knowledge on installation and configuration of SQL Server and also good knowledge on Networking to help in resolving this error. As SQL Server is already used in production environment, we would not be able to un-install it, so fix if any has to be done without the need of complete re-installation.
Please bid only if you are absolutely confident in fixing the issue so that after fixing the issue the application can be accessed from multiple computers and it should not throw this error any more. As part of addressing the cause of the issue, you might have to even configure SQL Client on client machines to connect successfully to central SQL Server. So, please keep that in mind while placing the bids. You must provide reasonable evidence of confidentiality.
Looking forward to your bids.
