Display Basket items in Single item format, no multiple quantities per item. Magento 2

When purchasing our product the customer uses our delivery date picker to choose when their purchased item is delivered. The date picker only shows the available delivery date depending on item stock availability. If the item is in stock then it is available for delivery in 4-5 working days after purchase. If the item is not in-stock then it is available for delivery 4 working days after future item re-stock date. Problem: The problem with the present system is, if the customer wants to order more than one of the same item they only have one date picker per sku. So if the customer needs more than one and there is only one available in-stock they can only choose one delivery date, and because only one bed is available only one will be delivered when the custumer will be expecting more than one. Brief: Each item needs to be on a singular row (as below) so each item has it’s own date picker. Also the QTY column needs to be removed, as it appears below. IMPORTANT: in this new layout when a customer wants 2 or more of the same item and there is only 1 available, then the delivery date for the first item should give the in-stock availability date and then the second should give the future re-stock availability date. Test Transactions, Confirmation Email and API to complete: When all these changes have been done we will need to do some purchase test make sure the website is still working and items can be purchased ok. Also all multiple items and multiple delivery dates appear in the confirmation email and are sent to through to our post processing portal by API. All has to be working to complete. Test site: We have a test site where work can be done and tested there. Then these changes would have to be applied to the live site for final test to complete the project. See attachment for visuals.
