Core PHP Website update

Site Brief The Exam Centre [login to view URL] is a website that was designed 2 years ago using Core PHP. Our company provides a service that allows clients to take Computer Based Exams in one of our centres. Basically, the client will book a specific exam (there are over 4000 different exams we cater for) in one of our Exam Centres (we have 3) at a specific time on a specific date. The client selects the date, time, exam and centre that suits them from a calendar booking system that exists on our site. The candidate has 3 options when they book an exam a) to pay by a voucher that they may have, b) pay for the exam when they arrive, or c) pay when they make the booking online through our Stripe account. The Exam Reference Number, Exam Description, Price, Exam Duration is all accessed from our CRM system (Salesforce) which maintains all of the above information plus other information which is not published. Once a booking is made by the client a confirmation booking is sent to the client and a copy is sent to our email account. A new requirement is that our Salesforce Org is updated to reflect the booking. Currently this is been partially used via Leads on Salesforce but is not working well. As this website is predominately an Exam Booking site it is necessary that the exam database is very flexible in its search ability. Partial term search is a must. It is also critical that the web database is updated very frequently in order to reflect the changes that exist in Salesforce. Currently there are 6 Main Menu pages and a Covid 19 Informational Page. There are also subpages which are News items at the bottom of the Home page. Our main requirement is to have the ability to add another section on the Menu called Practice Exams. This section will have a series of tiled images which leads to a subset of images and information. We want to be able to add these images and information ourselves. Information and concept will be shared when the contract is awarded. A further requirement is that each exam entry should have an Info Button alongside the price button to direct clients to additional information about the exam. There are some useful features like Directions-Bring me there which we would like to expand and make it more client specific. The critical requirements of this project is a modern fresh and appealing site that will focus on Exam Bookings primarily with Informational content as a secondary function. The ability to integrate with Salesforce bidirectionally is critical, as is the integration with Stripe. The additional of the Practice Exams element is the main driver for this project. As the current site is written in Coe PHP and Java we have no issues in utilizing the current site but we need to update its functionality and delivery. We would expect that this site will be refreshed every 2-3 years and wish to engage with a talented developer that has a proven track record and that we can work with on multiple projects and ideas into the future. We are also completely open to any ideas and suggestion that would make visiting the site a great current customer experience and easily attract new clients due to it informational ability and simplicity.
