Gofest, is a music and travel tech startup building a platform integrating music, travel and social media. We’re looking for the right person to work with our in-house development team. Your time will be used for developing, modifying, and improving our web based applications. We’re looking for an innovator who thinks outside the box. If you love the startup atmosphere, this might be the position you’ve been waiting for. You’ll be working closely with our lead developers building the next release of our software. You’ll also help us to integrate with other 3rd-party software companies. We use the following technologies to run Gofest App Ruby on Rails (Ruby 2.x, Rails 4.x) · Hosting on AWS using a combination of EC2, S3 and OpsWorks · Postgres · A combination of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular and jQuery · Capistrano · Nginx & Unicorn · Git/Bitbucket · Experience with exposing and consuming REST APIs would be a plus. The developer will work closely with the technical team and founder. You’ll be expected to learn the software quickly, be able to support it, and then work on making the software better.
