We're One Girl, a not-for-profit based in Collingwood, Melbourne. We're on a mission to educate 1 million girls across Africa by 2020, which is a huge goal. And that's why we need you. Majority of our fundraising happens through our custom fundraising platform. It's based in Magento, and we've got 2 instances of it. You can check them out here: [login to view URL] and here: my.onegirl.org.au. We need a Magento developer who can help us keep this updated! You'll be someone who can reliably make things happen with a fast turnaround. You'll have great attention to detail, and you'll understand the bigger picture. You'll be able to provide guidance where you see something can be done more effectively, and you'll want to empower us to make as many changes ourselves as we can. You'll be a sucker for data, as data can tell stories. You'll have proven experience in taking code that someone else has developed, working out what's happening, and modifying it as you need. You'll have a strong understanding of Magento's core framework, and experience working in the back end and front end is a must. Custom extension creation is a bonus. Within the next 6 months we are hoping to connect this platform with our Salesforce database, so ideally you'll have experience in working with the Salesforce API. You will have available to you the consultation of an experienced Magento developer.
