About CrossHatch CrossHatch is all about promoting young artists and a platform to sell their artworks. Though we will be targeting mainly Indian artists, but artist from all over the world are welcome to showcase their works. Website Specifications 1. The website will be made on Wordpress 4.3.1 2. The Wordpress theme will be given to the developer 3. There will be NO Sign up/Login for the users 4. Each of the artwork will be tagged/filtered by: a. Artist’s name b. Medium c. Genre d. Price (range) 5. Each artwork will carry all of above mentioned in point # 4 with link to artist’s name 6. Click on ‘Artist’s name’ will take the user to ‘Artist’s page, where there will be a photograph of the artist and his/her bio 7. From the artist’s page, there will be a link which will take the users back works of that particular artist. 8. Main menu items: a. Home b. About c. Contact 9. Sub-menus (Filters/Categories): a. All works b. Filter by artist (a space will open up to enter artist’s name, will work as ‘search’) c. Oil on Canvas d. Acrylic on Canvas e. Mixed Medium f. Sketch g. Sold Artworks 10. Social icons along with search option will be given on the top of the page 11. Footer will only have contact number. Email ID and Copyright information 12. Under each of the artworks, social sharing links should be there 13. Under each of the artworks, a ‘Disqus’ integration will be there so that users can discuss about the artwork 14. ‘Other works by the artist’ will be visible below ‘Disqus’ 15. WooCommerce need to be setup for buying the artwork 16. Price should be visible in 2 currencies – INR & USD. WooCommerce Multi-Currency plugin will be given to the developer 17. There will be Payment Gateway integration for payment with WooCommerce 18. An automated email should go to the buyer on successful payment (Text will be given) 19. An automated email should go to the user on unsuccessful payment (Text will be given) 20. Once an item is sold, it should automatically be marked as ‘sold’ (in red) – and will be added to ‘Sold Artworks’ filter 21. Admin area: a. Need options to add/edit/delete i. Artist(s) ii. Artist’s bio & photo iii. Artworks (need 2 price fields – one ‘Artist’s Price’ another ‘Display Price’) b. Option to add/edit/delete other content in other links like ‘About’, ‘Contact’, etc. 22. Reports: a. Sales Report – date wise sales report with details of the buyer 23. Other requirements: a. Google Analytics code to go automatically for each new page created for each artists b. When adding artworks, admin should have the right to push them to homepage
