Business Reporting, Dashboard and Automation

Substantial Project to bring high level of internal business reporting and client-specific reporting (via secure online portal and mobile) for rapidly growing Online Fulfilment company. Key objectives are: - To reduce time/resources in running reports manually, emailing clients with information and updates, server-heavy reports, FTP sites, managing client logins etc. - Advance the company forward and form the foundation for rapid growth - it's all about streamlining, efficiency and automation - Reduce invoicing processing times from about 2 days per month to a couple of hours. - Provide seamless, up to date information not only internally but also to our clients. - The project has a number of deliverable stages and as a summary include: STAGE ONE 1. Setup SQL Server/Application to mirror main business system and create reporting (read only) synchronised/mirrored version. 2. Create company-branded secure client portal with secure access for each client where reports, dashboard and information relating to that CLIENT only is stored and updated automatically. Each Sales Channel can be identified to one client. Each client may have more than one sales channel. Portal to be scalable (number of clients) but also to be used as a communications tool, wiki/faq and news/information (common to all clients) but then each client able to view their OWN data. 3. Build a set of reports to view/download common amongst all clients but for each client only showing data pertaining to that client which may include daily/weekly report on orders shipped, stock levels, orders outstanding, tracking information etc. 4. Build dashboard for each client showing THEIR order volumes, outstanding orders, returns, resends, exchanges, low stock warnings etc with ability to drill down into detail. 5. Build ability for clients to query Reporting Server in real time on a number of criteria to answer their own questions and self-service most of their enquires such as order details, status, tracking etc. STAGE 2 6. Ability for clients to run adhoc reports on THEIR data. 7. Scoreboards - key performance indicators to be available via web page that will be displayed within the business. 8. Ability for clients to rebrand an element of their portal in the clients brand to support their customers to query tracking and order status information. 9. Mobile version of dashboard, key data and ability to query on the fly. STAGE 3 10. Invoice Automation - given that the data of every order shipped is available, use this together with client/sales channels, price lists which are per client per postal service and packaging type to create invoice supporting information. Currently all done via Excel. 11 Produce invoice data for import into Sage Accounts to produce invoices to clients from data collected. There are potentially further developments to be undertaken after this has been developed and proven. Must be cloud based but open to suggestions on how this is achieved. Preferred route to use existing applications rather than coding from scratch. SQL, Good understanding of database structures, security, Query writing, Web, Mobile, good commercial sense and understanding, good at interpreting data and business needs into a usable, efficient online solution. NDA will be required and the Company will require to be supplied with all configuration details, settings, passwords etc. All/Any hosting will be done on our Company Infrastructure.
