Build a website from scratch using Wordpress and Avada theme (provided). Exact brief will be provided but the summary is: - Homepage, which is a landing page. Wire frame with content provided. Some design required, so Photoshop skills are necessary. Sourcing of stock photo's and perhaps icons. I will pay separately for these items. There is a bit of work getting this to a high standard, but you have precise instructions to follow. - Contact / About Us page. A single page that does both. Content and design guidance provided. - Blog section. 5 blogs have been written, the content simply needs to be added. That's all. The site will have additional pages, but I will do these myself. VERY IMPORTANT. The site must be built without custom CSS or custom code. All styling must be done using the wordpress and theme settings. This is important so that worpress and avada can be updated as new releases come out without affecting the site. Also, I want to be able to maintain the site going forward, or I want to have other people work on the site. Avoiding any custom work makes the site easier for me and anyone else to manage going forward. If custom CSS is absolutely necessary, it must be via a child theme, but I am confident the desired outcome can be satisfied without and custom CSS. If you normally build sites using raw CSS changes, do NOT bid on this job. You must be familiar with the ins an outs of Avada theme and be able to style the theme via the GUI. This is a small project, but I want a high quality result. It will take a bit of time and effort to get a polished result. You can build it on your server or mine, but you will be required to deploy the finished website on my server. Thanks!

As you mentioned the best option would be to create a child theme and make modifications to that. That way the project is isolated and you can even give the theme to someone to develop and get back, instead of having to give access to the site to add changes in the theme settings.
