Hi All, Im looking at getting some quotes/information as to whether it is possible to extract odds data from betfair through their API. Ideally i would love NBA data from last season (I'm not sure if this is possible now that the season is finished). I would like some sort of data output (spreadsheet) with the following data: Home Team & away Team with the following for each: Starting odds, in play odds for each team (top fluctuations and bottom fluctuations) and who won the game. Would be interested to hear if this is possible at all and what it would cost. Thanks very much - any questions let me know. Thanks James

Hey, I am interested in the project. I work often with the Betfair Api. Real time data on betfair is relatively easy to get. To get historical data you need an account with 100 betfair points. I can help you to build the scripts to fetch the data. Cheers

It's not possible to get historic data from the betfair API (betfair uses a third Party for the results), but it would be possible to collect information on markets as they occur. I have created several Betfair Java applications in the past, betting on Football & Tennis and could reuse some code to provide you with a solution. I'd be looking at around $200->$250 for the entire job, which would need to continuously run to capture the information out to a file, which could then be imported into excel. Not sure from the description if you want to capture the information from this season, but let me know if you're interested in pursuing the app.
