Add taxonomies to custom post types and sync with Geomywp search form

Hi there,

I need to add functionality to some new taxonomies associated with a custom post type I'm working with. I can easily add the new taxonomies and they show in the backend of the custom posts I'm using. I can also get the Geomywp search form to recognise the new custom post taxonomy and display it in the search form correctly.

The problem I have is that I don't understand how to make the new taxonomies numeric values that people can then choose from a dropdown list between two values. E.g. between 'Minimum Price' and 'Maximum Price'.

I have added 'Minimum Bedrooms' and 'Maximum Bedrooms' taxonomies that are recognised in the custom post type's backend and correctly display in the search form frontend. I have done the same with 'Minimum Price' and 'Maximum Price'.

If the user selects '£500,000' from the 'Minimum Price' dropdown and '£600,000' from the 'Maximum Price', I need the results to return all properties equal to or more than '£500,000' and less than or equal to '£600,000'. The same principle is needed for the 'Minimum Bedrooms' and 'Maximum Bedrooms'. If you don't understand what I mean then you are not the right person for the job. This should be quite easy for the right person. I would do it myself but I don't have time to learn before launch date.

I have already got the search form to successfully perform and return radius searches and have successfully added Google Autocomplete for towns etc. The final piece of the jigsaw is getting the form to return results based on 'between values' in the new taxonomy dropdowns.

Anybody that can help me out will be considered. You need to speak good English though because I've had problems in the past with freelancers completely misunderstanding the brief, doing the wrong job and still expecting payment. English first language please or alternatively a perfect understanding of English and technical terms.

Thanks,

Ryan
