Hi, I am in the process of developing a start-up website; I already have the full business requirements and looking for a great Programme Manager or Software Architect to advise and assist me throughout the project. Essentially I would like to combine features of various websites to create a unique offering to my customers. In summary, the site to develop should combine a bidding functionality, online collaboration, project management and document sharing using social networking principles. This project will be in Phases; Phase 1 - fixed fee bidding process ? Assist with technical requirements, for example help to decide what technologies suit my requirements; what programming language or platform, hosting companies, databases, etc will fit my site. (advise me the pro's and cons for choices) ? Develop the project timeline and assist me to estimate total costs of the project ? Assist in writing the technical requirements document. Phase 2 - hourly rate (will agree once we start the project) ? Facilitating in appointing the appropriate team to deliver the project Phase 3- hourly rate (will agree once we start the project) ? Manage the project to go-live The individual appointed must have experience with building or managing a similarly complex site with a large user base. Having experience with CMS (Content Management Systems) is necessary. I need someone who is adept at writing or managing complex web applications and has all round knowledge of various languages, with a good overall familiarity of database structures, creating algorithms for generating related content and pretty much everything else.
