"Modified Debt Amortization (Payoff schedule) Report Program" ? ---------------------------------------------------------- This project is to create a routine to create and deal with a modified version of a traditional payoff schedule (see below) by applying several "strategies" to help someone payoff there debts faster than they would using a traditional payoff schedule. I like to help people by showing them how they can pay off their debts faster. ? ---------------------------------------------------------- A traditional payoff schedule (Amortization schedule) shows: ? ? ? 1. Date, ? ? 2. Beginning Debt Balance, ? ? 3. Payment amount, ? ? 4. Portion of the payment amount that goes to pay off the interest charged since the last payment, ? ? 5. Remaining portion of the payment amount that gets subtracted from the beginning balance to obtain the ending balance (which is the beginning balance of the next time period). ? ? 6. Some types of debts such as credit cards allow new charges which are added to get the ending balance, however these are rarely ever part of a traditional payoff schedule because future charges are "unknown" and usually accounts that allow new charges are designed to never be paid off - at least that is what the credit card company prefers :). ? ? 7. Ending Balance (which is the beginning balance of the next time period for example - the next month). The most common is probably a monthly payment on a simple interest loan such as a home mortgage.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) Create a routine to create and deal with a modified version of a traditional payoff schedule by applying several "strategies" to help someone payoff there debts faster than they would using a traditional payoff schedule. Input (some via passed parameters, some from tables) consists of: A. "Report Scenario" data: _1. a table of debts with related information: __ Entry/Change Date (Allows for added/increased debts & reports as snapshots in time) __ Date (of Balance & Info) __ Balance __ Interest Rate __ Minimum Payment __ Regular Pmt __ Escrow __ etc. _2. Parameters: __ Consolidation Option 1 of: ____? Exclude,? Use Existing, Optimize, or Minimize Pmt __ Use Additional Mortgage Credit __ Equity Transfer Option __ Additional money/month __ Investment Option __ Minimum Investment $/month __ Cost/bill/month __ Discount __ Summary __ Various levels of Detail __ Selected strategies __ etc. _3. Data: __ # of additional non-debt bills __ # of bills paid late each month __ Home Value __ etc. B. Action/Instruction information: _1. Action: __ Generate Report for given "Report Scenario" __ Create Modified "Report Scenario" __ Generate Comparison report between "Report Scenarios" __ etc. _2. Action parameters: __ Adjustments to pre-existing input parameters __ Adjustments can also be from a table or special Report Scenario C. Action specific data: _1. Date _2. Scenarios to compare (if applicable) _3. etc. D. etc. 5) The routine must be callable from a webpage and by other methods such as via DLL, via executable, etc. 6) Reports are for use with People I want to help and also to let existing people I've helped to know how they are doing. For some reports (i.e. Generate Report action) I have put together a plain text format as to what to include initially.? The project includes bringing the look/feel of these reports up-to-speed with today's technology so that they look great and are easily understandable by a fourth grader.? Some of the format and even content will likely need to be changed to accomplish this. For some reports (Generate Comparison report between "Report Scenarios" action, etc.) the contents of these reports will be stated in terms of the goals for that report.? The rest will need to be designed. 7) Non-Disclosure agreement will be required before details regarding the strategies available and to be used in the routine are divulged.? An example of one of the strategies used is to apply extra money to the highest interest debt first. Thank You for your interest, -Bryan
