Custom Version of Xbox Media Center

This is a project to develop a modification for Xbox Media Center which will allow me to turn it into a Advertisment system to be used in a nightclub/pub. Basically Xbox Media Center (XBMC), is an open source program able to be used with a modded xbox, the Sourceforge page for this programs releases can be found at [Http://[login to view URL]][1] what i am looking for, which can either be develped in to this program, or as a python script (XBMC does support Python and this is what i am more interested in, as i could use it with already compiled version and newer releases of XBMC) is a program that will pull 'ads' (jpg images) from a folder on the xbox's local HD or a network drive, display it for 30 seconds and have a cross fade (of 2 seconds) in to a divx movie which is already playing the back ground.... all of this should be automatic, no user interface. So when the user turns the xbox on, opens the Mediacenter, it creates a que of movies to play (off a SMB share) and randomizes the list of movies, and starts to play them, then every 4 minutes, the movie will fade out (2 seconds)an ad comes up (jpg) displayes for 30 seconds and fades out to the movie already in progress. this will continuesly happen until the xbox is turned off. Images that the xbox will load will be of random size, and must beable to strech to screen to fill it. all sizes will have to be encoded for NTSC standard televisions. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
