Website Programmer

THE SITE My website is an online learning site. Lessons will be taught through skype, and the site is needed for searching teachers, emailing, scheduling of lessons, and payment. The basic look and feel will be simple, clean, and easy to use. (Site similar to [login to view URL] but more simple) There will be a login for teachers and students. Each will provide a profile. Students and teachers will have different dashboards. Students can search teachers based on language, location, availability, picture available etc. The site needs an email system for the members to use. Payment will be by credit card or paypal. Site must be in two languages: Japanese and English. Also, I want an ADMIN dashboard for my use. PAYMENTS FOR PROJECT Payment is broken down into modules, as each is completed uploaded to my server, tested and approved, money is released. Browsers: Windows IE & Mozilla, and Macintosh - Create CSS for each TWO TEST MODULES (before the full project is released to a programmer) 1. Setup Welcome page – Simple (just to have a welcome page while the site is being built). 2. Link to Application for teachers and simple application AFTER THESE TWO MODULES ARE APPROVED 3. Teacher profile 4. Search teacher – the teachers are evaluated by student (based on 5 stars), the higher evaluated teacher would appear first in the search. 5. Student Profile 6. Setup payment REQUIREMENTS: • Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, MySQL and Ajax programming • Knowledge of Flash ActionScript, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and in CMS (Joomla and Joomla extension programming) • Experience in deployment of website based on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) • Ability to work within tight schedules • Creative with the ability to execute a web design concept • Independent and great attention to details • Able to communicate effectively and with good problem solving skills When responding to this job post, please include your bid for the first two modules.
