VB 6 SQL/Access DB and Login

Programmer experienced with VB 6.0, SQL/Access, and Winsock. Need database/login/client loading and saving done for Internet chat program. Client/Server app already done. Client specific properties need to be loaded and saved from DB to client applications labels and listboxes. Must support numerous users and simultaneous connections over the Internet. Must be very secure. While Access can be used for test, must be fully compatible with SQL and include instruction on loading and use. Specs of work to be completed. Login screen allows users to create new account or load existing account. Creating a new account checks that user name is not already in use, assigns and emails temporary password, creates the user account with all fields. Each client will require up to 150-160 pieces of information per screen name. And each client can have a max of 3 screen names. User must have ability to change password. Login with existing. Client enters user name and password and it loads the client application with all the data. Labels and listboxes. Also must have a save script that updates the clients database records. This should be able to be inserted into timers or command buttons so changes can be saved from client to DB · Each Time a user logs on they reset a field that show days since last logon. Admin Client needs to be able to connect to DB to manage server and accounts: · Admin Login · Lock/unlock user accounts · Reset passwords · Create log files of users, number of records, and user not logged in since "X" date or in "X" Days · Tools to delete accounts · Ability to modify records all records · Tools to maintain DB, such as compression. · Ability to delete all account not logged in "X" Days. · Field that shows date client paid fee's and ability to list all clients of certain date. Since each client can have three user names, something should be in place to have the user names under one account as to not duplicate certain data such as last payment date .cfg or ini file so client can access the DB and we can easily change [login to view URL] to search all screennames for specific fields and return top 20 screen names, (i.e. return the 20 screen names with highest number in a specific field. And write results to a log file. I will provide blank forms with features to be completed as well as lists of all forms and labels that have data. ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. ## Deadline information Would like this done sometime in February. Should provide basic support on assisting me with information on loading the DB and getting it running. Full Documentation on use and operation.
