Create a training course where by the user will learn unix system administration by reading the lesons & practicing the commands & tools via Telnet to a server available in the company. Goal is to deliver lessons with description, easy to read information with some "lead in" description followed by commands used for that topic. Platform will be Solaris 8 or 9 OS You are not writing a book, it has to be easy, to the point information. They have enough books & other reosurces available. Show examples by capturing from a real working machine after establishinga TELNET session Reader must understand the purpose of the command, why they would use, how does it apply on the job for system administration support The same lab exercises can be used by the reader to practice after they can TELNET into a remote host/ system. Be very specific in lab exercises about the machine names + ip addresses the reader is using because we will have to replace that with the host names + ip addresses at work End product will be word documents with names such as - [login to view URL], [login to view URL] , [login to view URL] etc etc & [login to view URL] , [login to view URL], etc etc Each [login to view URL] will have specific list of commands, utilities that will describe the objective, why the command is used, and the actual output of the command/utility as seen by end user.
