2 Bugs in PHP/MySQL/Smarty/AJAX App

I have 2 bugs that I would like to have fixed. 1) I was Facebook wall post to be async. I want them to execute outside of workflow so that it doesn't slow down button clicks or other actions. CURL is probably the way to do this but I am not married to CURL. 2) One of our page doesn't work in Windows XP. It works on other platforms though. Even if the page has to be rewritten to pull out the AJAX we woudl rather have it work than work with the partial page rendering. We would prefer to get the AJAX loading working.
