Web consultancy and redesign for global site. Multi-currency, Spanish Speaking.

We need help to: Develop a strategy for localisation / management of multiple domains. Help with localised SEO/SEM especially in Spanish speaking world. Rebuild existing site(s) on new multi-currency/multi-lingual framework Help with marketing design for targeted USA sales site. Provide Spanish translation service. I'd like someone to work on this full time for 2-3 weeks, rather than be done as a part-time job. ## Deliverables UseMyNet is a UK based company. We sell both Wi-FI software and hardware. Our primary website is [login to view URL] The majority of our sales come from downloadable software, and our customers are worldwide. As the site is English language the majority of sales are from English speaking countries. We certainly feel we are missing out on downloadable sales to the Spanish speaking world. We also sell hardware, the majority of these sales are to the UK. We currently use [login to view URL] as a hosted shopping cart solution which also deals with the digital downloads. We use paypal and google checkout as payment processing, currently all transactions are in "GBP £". Currenly we use Joomla as the CMS. We own many of the TLD for UseMyNet. The following sites are live: [login to view URL] - Primary site [login to view URL] - Original domain we used. It's the oldest for SEO purposes. [login to view URL] - Copy of primary site [login to view URL] - Copy of primary site partially translated to Spanish. The sites are a bit of a mess and an administrative headache. We need help deciding if it's better to run several localised sites or have a single site with localised sections. There will be some differences for example we can provide professional services to the UK (like installation) which we can't do to the USA, but the software downloads are worldwide. We have poor sales to USA. I think this is caused by a lack of US Dollar pricing. Also we don't have target USA site with local phone number etc. I've been looking at moving to another CMS if that provides a better solution. Prestashop looks impressive, but I would need to make sure it meets all our requirements. I found Virtumart to be very frustrating when I looked at it. I'd also be happy to pay for a commercial solution if it met all our needs. We need help first to decide on the correct strategy and framework for the sites and domains and then to implement the changes. Main Requirements Phase 1. Advise of best framework to build site on. Possibly move to Prestashop Advise on best strategy for existing domains and sites. For example should we keep country specific sites or redirect localised TLDs to the main .com site with localised content. Phase 2. Implement changes. Move site(s) to new platform Help build site/section targeted at USA sales with Dollar pricing Build / translate Spanish language sales site, Dollar / Euro pricing. The site(s) must be easy for us to administer. We are now familiar with Joomla, but aware of it's limitations. Desirable Requirements Local pricing (We can set a specific price in local currency rather than auto-calculated rate) Option to add addition languages / currencies in the future. 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform n/a
