188527 Model /Talent Agent Redesign

We are looking at a redesign of our existing site and database whereas a good 40-60% of the programming is already there and needs some manipulation. All is done with php, java, and mysql. We are on a short time frame and are looking at a launch the first week of 2008. Currently our site allows for automated/manual signs ups and approvals which automatically inserts into a mysql database as well as payment options through paypal and authorize.net. We like how this is done. Our main issues is the the website presentation. Would would like the option of categories of viewing our models, (ie women, men,) or specific genre (ie fashion, art, lingerie) all being selected to display as a menu item or for front page viewing. As it is now all models appear in a cycle through the pictures so that if a model post 10 pictures all of those appear on the first page. We do not want that and want to be able to manually select what people appear or what category appears. All with a graphical feel with titles. We would like the images to pop up in a nicer more flash based look as well as the personal/pro information for each model to appear in a similar box. Additionally whenever an approved model submits new pictures to their portfolio we have no way of knowing and have to go through hundreds of models. We would like some notification associated with any updates a model make to their online portfolio. If you visit our website lookmodelz dot com you will see that there are no real options for the categories (example: women 16-23, 24-30, etc). Secondarily the format for pictures and each model portfolio needs to be changed for better viewing. Most of our clients are national companies looking to book our models and talent for Midwest events and projects. We like the look and feel (colors and general menu navagation)of the website as it is built around a simple content management interface. We just want more control over what appears on the front page, how people can view the various categories/genres of models we have, and the ease of management for our non technical staff. Here is our original post for this project back in 2005 that the programmer ifactors did a great job on. It is now time for us to renovate this concept. ------------------------------------------------------------------ This program will be used as a model agency program. It will be similar to one model place dot com in its feature core. Please see those websites for functionality. This website will be a national model agency. At the end of the project we will own the copyright to this program to do what we want with it. Administration 1. Three Levels a. Admin - admin can add, edit, suspend, and remove a profile, as well as choose whether a picture a model uploads is displayed and its rating. There should be the ability for at least two admins. Every control for the entire backend should be made available in this area. b. Model - Can edit portfolio and add pictures. Display of pictures should be in categories similar to [login to view URL] (Fashion, Runway, Sport, Casual, Print, Swimwear, Lingerie, Art, Artistic Nude, and Glamour).There should be a Rated R option that if an unregistered user visits the site they would not see images in that rating. There should also be a check box within the admin for the admin to check various images featured images. c. Registered user- This user will signup for an account to book a particular model for a project. They will have access to a form, once registered, which will list some standard fields, comments, and a model drop down box with model name and registered number. Once the user submits a booking for review it will go to the admin for review. New registrations for a Registered User do not have to be approved by anyone. They will simply see our policies during the registration, confirm they have read them, and be able to submit booking requests. Forms General info should be requested on all forms (name, address, phone, email, web address if applicable, etc). Only the name and email fields would be required. Signup Form [login to view URL] which will give the model the option to pay online with [login to view URL] or by check. We will have similar levels of membership. Here they are Payment Forms - FREE: Allows the user to display 5 pictures Silver $FEE per yr - Allows the user to display 10 pictures Gold $FEE per year- Allows the user to display unlimited. All of these fields should be editable. There should be three payment options check, [login to view URL], or credit. This system should connect to [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] or both. Everyone can signup for a free account and should have the options within the system to upgrade at any time. Model Search Display There should be an option on the site whereas models can be displayed according to two basic divisions' men and women. In the future would also like to be able to add others like children and differentiate between ages (i.e. women 18-24). Don't need that now, but if there were an add option like we did in select a shopper or floral shops to add these divisions that would be great. Model Portfolio display can be like ones found at [login to view URL] or http://modelmayhem.com. There should be a contact link within each portfolio that when someone clicks on it will automatically tag that model in the form but the only one to receive the info from the request should be the admin. The form should also check to see if they are a registered user and if not ask them to register before requesting more information. This should be a css, php, mysql driven website with a header and footer file which carry throughout the site. ------------------------------------------------- Please note that we DO NOT want a clone of any site mention in this post.
