Job requirements • Candidate absolutely must be a true expert, know the latest web software technologies, and have relevant experience • Candidate shall o develop a bus ticketing system and integrate a payment system into an existing bus timetables search engine o develop and integrate a payment system into the existing taxi contact information search engine o enhance and further develop the existing carpool system o develop software in accordance with agreed-upon schedules and established best practices o maintenance of existing web applications o collaborate and contribute new ideas on how to consistently enhance the website and user travel experience o be very dedicated and work full-time (40 hours per week minimum) Skills & Experience • Absolutely must have expert, in-depth knowledge of: o PHP, MySQL, Software Architecture, Bootstrap, jQuery (Server side) o HTML, CSS, Javascript (Client side) o [login to view URL] payment integration system • Professional working proficiency in English • Availability to communicate via audio on Skype or Tox • Knowledge of Serbo-Croatian is preferred, but not necessary • Knowledge of Linux is a plus, but not necessary Company BalkanViator ("viator" meaning "traveler" in Latin) is a website, founded on July 2012, which serves as a search engine for information on bus departure times, taxi services, and carpooling in Southeast Europe.
