PHP programmer to sub on ongoing project

Project for Fortune 500 software company. Lead programmer needs support from experienced, detail-oriented PHP programmer. Must be proficient in PHP, have good knowledge of PHP and Javascript. Specific Help Needed - Bulk import of Excel data into pre-existing mySQL database. Creation of reports in PHP to be viewed on screen and in mySQL. Creation of user authentication system based upon existing framework; the current system needs to be expanded to incorporate new types of users. This is a functioning tool that has been built over the past 4 months. Lead programmer is taking a well-earned one-week break. Client will be providing the above-mentioned Excel spreadsheets that are designed to work with the existing code. Programmer must be ready to make adjustments to handle the inevitable adjustments that will have to be made to account for variables in the data. There will also be data from foreign countries, so knowledge of double-byte character set is a plus. This is a one-week, approx. 25-35 hour gig that could extend into more if the programmer shows aptitude. Excellent project for mid-level PHP programmer. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Runs on SUSE Linux, Apache, PHP, mySQL. Pretty traditional LAMP setup.
