Linux Disk Defragmenter

We at CKDS Digital are attempting to mount a come back for Linux and would like to build various games and utilities packs. This project is for a Linux Disk Defragmenter are simple utility much like the ones you see in windows with a detailed analysis of fragmentation before defrag and after. Its a relatively simple application to build with the know how linux codebase and any successful candidates will automatically be considered for hire in future applications that we build. We would like the software to be called "CKDS Digital LLP's Linux Disk Defragmenter" The version of linux it is aimed at is Linux XP but cross version compatability would be appreciated. We would of course like an automatic installer application for linux. You willo be credited for your work and references will be given to other programing companies if we are satisfied by your work and you ask for such. This application is designed to be bundled with a utility pack we are building, this includes drive compression software, Disk Scanner (for lost files bad sectors etc, a system moniter and a right click extender), Please look at the other projects if you feel they may also appeal to you. For more questions please ask. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
