Hi i have worked on a php bot using the nodejs to simulate javascript execution. The bot would connect to a webpage using a proxy over curl and a randomly selected useragent string, the javascript returned in the html would then be executed by the node.js and in that way the trading script running on the target site would be fooled into believing it was a legitimate visitor. I tried using phantomjs but it is not reliable over proxy, and it would sometimes fail to run the javascript. If you are interested in something similar please get back to me with more details.
