Build a Custom WordPress Plugin (1690493)

We are a creative Digital Marketing company based in UK. We're currently experiencing a phenomenal growth month after month, so we’re searching for a highly experienced “WordPress Developer Extraordinaire?? who is immediately available to work with us on building a custom WordPress plugin. If you perform well, we’ll have another custom WP plugin you can work on next. You will be responsible for: - Dealing mostly with custom WordPress development such as plugins and scripts, and creating custom API integrations with third party software - Work outside of WordPress such as PHP, Javascript/JQuery, Ajax developments & modifications ## Deliverables We’re looking for a high-calibre, highly-experienced developer so to save your time and ours, please apply ONLY if you fulfill the following criteria: A. Essentials (Absolutely Required) - At least 4 years experience in web development - Excellent knowledge of XHTML & CSS3 or above (at the very least, should be able to code image sprite rollovers, have a clear understanding of the CSS box model, be able to overcome browser-specific formatting issues such as floating elements in IE and webfont kit implementation) - Proficient in advanced PHP - you're able to custom code a solution to complex problems quickly, tidily and efficiently - Extensive knowledge & experience of the Wordpress Codex and how to customize the Wordpress structure; how to create custom plugins and scripts that may or may not communicate with third party API's - Excellent Javascript knowledge including implementation of JQuery - Good knowledge of Ajax - You must be able to implement OOP into your workflow for tasks that would benefit from such an approach, although you must be skilled enough to know when this would or would not be beneficial to the objectives of the task (we'll rely on you to be able to choose between the faster & more cost-effective approaches, or the slower, but more stable and scalable approaches) - Your code must be organized so that others can pick up where you have left off - tidiness of code tells us a lot about the standards of the person that coded it. We're looking for someone with high standards - You really love what you do.
