I need to store XML and XSL in the Lotus Notes 7 environment in such a way that it can be accessed a lot by Java and Lotusscript agents. My question is this: what is the best way to store such data so that it can be gotten to quickly? Is it better to put the files in the database as resources? have the text copied\pasted into Notes Richtext fields in regular Notes documents? At the moment I have the XSL and XML files copied\pasted into Notes Richtext fields -- one piece per Notes document. This seems to work well, but the problem is, for some processes, a dozen or more lookups to the Notes documents need to be done. Would it be better\faster if I had these in file resources, or actually on the server, then accessed them via a url in a Java class? Or is there some even better way to store this kind of data in Notes?
