Our e-commerce web site, [login to view URL], is hosted by Yahoo Merchant Solutions and is an HTML site. Yahoo Merchant’s hosting also allows for PHP dynamic pages. The [login to view URL] web site is for retail customers only and indicates prices for retail customers only. We also have a spreadsheet listing prices for wholesale dealers only, which is available by a password protected HTML file only [login to view URL] There is only one password to enter the file which is “quality??. What we would like to do is to ALSO have the dealer pricing information displayed for the specific item they are viewing displayed dynamically on the bottom of each of the product pages (example: [login to view URL]). We do not intend on having the ability for the dealer to order at the dealer price, this is for informational purposes only. There should not be a need for the dealer to enter his password every time he wished to view the dealer pricing for the item. The product page and dealer pricing spreadsheet can be linked by the products Part Number. Please note that not every item on [login to view URL] has a corresponding line in the dealer spread sheet. Use items # such as: M-SYN0707 , M-SYN7818 , W-CIG1TO2 . If there is no corresponding line in the price sheet, then item page should say CALL FOR DEALER PRICING. This information would be protected by PHP authentication with sessions and cookies. We have excellent search engine rankings and do not want to jeopardize them my using PHP pages to do this task. This concern must be addressed. If we could leave the pages as static HTML pages, we would consider having a button on each of the html product pages, that when the dealer clicks on the button, it would send them to a password protected php page with a session that would time out after 30 or so minutes. On this php page would be the pricing spreadsheet of all the available dealer items with the specific item row (where the dealer originated from) highlighted in yellow.
